      1. All areas around your home or business, including your shrubs, landscaping, roof, etc. will be protected from start to finish by canvas drop clothes, paper, and plastic.
      1. All wood surfaces to be painted will be thoroughly pressure washed with mild detergent, mildew check, or solvent to remove dirt, grease, mildew, soap, or oil film that may have accumulated over the years.  This step will help to ensure proper adhesion of the fresh paint.
      1. All areas are cleaned up daily, and a daily walk-around can be performed with the customer to inform of progress.
      1. All areas of loose paint will be scraped. Further sanding and smoothing may be necessary for maintenance or cosmetic consideration. The proper primer will be applied to all bare wood and metal to ensure proper adhesion of the new paint. This step also helps prevent future peeling in these areas.
      1. Any loose caulking will be removed and new caulking will be applied. Any open gaps will be filled with new caulking to prevent rainwater, insects, etc. from penetrating below the surface.
      1. All loose nails will be reset and holes will be re-puttied as needed.
      1. Loose and missing window glaze will be replaced and the wood sash will be primed to ensure the long life of the new glazing compound.
      1. To ensure proper paint adhesion, glossy surfaces will be dulled by sanding or undercoating.
      1. Only quality materials will be used. Quality materials give the best result and last longer. We use BEHR PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA
      1. The work will be done neatly and professionally by skilled tradesmen who are polite, and friendly, and work efficiently.
      1. Waste materials, by-products and used solvents will be disposed of safely, properly and in an environmentally responsible manner. We understand our job site is your home and we will maintain a clean job site.
      1. Up to 9 Test Patches will be provided as part of our customer service to you, this will provide a larger area of colour on your home to see colours in different light, on the different textures of substrates, next to the stone, brick, or other colours on the home that are not being painted. Touch-up paint will also be labelled and left for your future convenience. Additional paint samples are just $3 each with a $45 trip charge per trip.
